Article 50. Duty of professional reservation

Private detectives are obliged to keep reservations about the investigations they carry out, and may not provide data or information about them except to the persons entrusted to them and to the competent judicial and police bodies for the exercise of their functions.

Only by means of a judicial request or a police request related to the exercise of their functions in the course of a criminal investigation or a sanctioning procedure can the content of the investigations carried out by private detectives be accessed.
